What is the best way to burn my candle?
Make sure that any debris is cleared from the candle before burning and wick is centered. Trim the wick to 1/4" before every lighting to avoid the wick from curling. We recommend burning your candle until the wax melts evenly across the container, not exceeding 4 hours. Waiting until there is an even wax pool will help avoid candle tunneling where wax can build up around the sides of the container. This will help with the life of the candle. To extinguish, gently blow out the candle flame or use a wick snuffer.

What are in your candles?
Our candles are made made with 100% soy wax produced from US grown soy beans for a clean, eco-friendly burn. All candles use a lead-free cotton wick and high quality fragrance and/or essential oils with no additives or dyes. Our candles are vegan and cruelty-free. The blend of soy wax and our fragrance oils creates an aroma that fills up a space without being overpowering. We want our candles to enhance your home to create inviting spaces for everyday living.

Why 100% soy wax?
We use 100% soy wax that is produced in the US and made from soy beans, meaning that it is vegetable based, vegan, and non-toxic. We do not choose to blend with other waxes like paraffin, which is a petroleum by-product created when crude oil is refined into gasoline. This can create harmful fumes in the air, and that is something that we don't want in our candles! Soy wax also has a lower melting point, which means that it has a longer, cleaner burn.

Can I repurpose my candle container?
Yes! Our candle jars and tins are perfect vessels to be repurposed as planters, flower vases, catchalls, and so many other possibilities. When 1/2" of wax remains and you are ready to discontinue use, put the cooled candle into the freezer until wax is frozen. Once this happens, you can carefully chip the remaining wax and wick from the container.

Who makes your candles?
All of our candles are hand mixed, poured, and packaged in small batches by us (Sarah Ducas & Ariana Lewis)! This ensures that each candle is handled with care. Our beautiful botanical labels and zodiac labels were created by talented designer, Shanleigh Heelan, of August & Osceola.
